Corfe Castle on a misty sunrise morning, a wave of mist flowing in and over the ruins as the sun crept over the surrounding hills. As the light broke through, rays spread across what’s left of the castle – the kind of conditions that last about ten minutes before the mist burns off and it’s gone.
Shot in black and white to focus on the drama of the light rather than the colour – the tonal contrast between the dark ruins and the bright misty rays is what makes this one.
