Bristol is my hometown. It’s an incredible city, with so much variety, yet in such a relatively small area. I love that I can zip from one side of the city to the other in the morning with the minimum of fuss. There is so much on offer here for photographers – whether you’re up in Clifton, gazing at the Suspension Bridge, down by the harbour watching a reflection of the Matthew, strolling along North Street admiring another new mural from Upfest, or standing on the hills south of the city, watching mist roll across the fields of North Somerset and beyond.
We are blessed with a large and passionate photographic community here, and such a supportive one too. I have learnt virtually all I know from the photographers I have met in this city.
