Shot from the Leigh Woods bank of the Avon Gorge on the same foggy morning as The Void, but from a little further along – a wider, landscape view of the bridge fading into the grey on both sides.
The fog strips away everything that usually frames Clifton Suspension Bridge – the skyline, the gorge, the context – and leaves just the structure itself hanging in the mist. The black and white treatment pushes that further, the bridge structure sharp against a soft grey nothing.
A good choice for anyone with a connection to Bristol, or for anyone who wants a Clifton Suspension Bridge print that’s a bit different to the standard view.
