Description
The Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis over Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. Taken very late on Monday 12th August 2024. A large aurora was on display across the UK that night, and I had thought of going to a dark sky location. However I have always had an image in my head of the northern lights over the suspension bridge – something that has never been photographed before. I headed down to Cumberland Basin and couldn’t believe my luck when the pink/purple colours showed up on the back of the camera. I never thought I would witness the aurora over Bristol!
