Description
The Northern Lights or aurora borealis above Clevedon Pier, early 2023. Honestly one of the most amazing things I have witnessed. It is normal to witness the light display in Iceland, the Scottish Highlands, Norway and so on – but not so far south, particularly on North Somerset coastline! When the aurora alerts started coming in, I hopped in the car and headed to Clevedon Pier. It wasn’t long before I could see faint pillars of light with the naked eye. A few test shots later and I was blown away. Vivid pinks, purples, reds and greens, dancing across the sky. It was an amazing night.
