I was very honoured to have been commissioned by the Arts & Culture Programme at UHBW (University Hospitals Bristol and Weston) NHS trust recently to display a portfolio of imagery within the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
The Arts and Culture Programme at UHBW exists to improve the look and feel of hospital spaces, and they have worked with a number of other local artists. I was incredibly chuffed to have been asked to do this.
I worked with the A&C to select a range of images from my collection that were suitable for the space. These included many from the local area. I’ve added each of the chosen images to my print shop now, all available at different sizes.
A selection of 12 of my images are currently on display at the BRI (if you’re visiting – they are along a corridor at the Potter Gallery on level 5). The images may also end up being used and displayed at other hospitals within the trust, which is awesome!
